Coming from the coast of Maine, USA, Noxterra is the electronic music project of Nick Sawyer. Nick has been deeply passionate about sound, sound design and music technology since youth, having produced his first album of electronic music at the age of 13. In his 20's Nick released music and DJ'd as Timetrik, in addition to producing and recording albums, EPs for other musical acts, plus some live sound engineering on the side. Since its inception in the fall of 2024, Noxterra is the present day and growing container/identity project for Nick's creative output. Evolved from the culmination of his production skills tied to his deep love for groundbreaking electronic music styles, he blends natural elements and musical movements with 21st century sound design. Consistently compelled to explore new sounds and rhythms, while also respecting organic forms and tradition... pulling from the deep well of the night, nature and dreams for inspiration, Noxterra defies a single genre and incorporates glitch-hop, dubstep, trance, IRL psychadelia and experimental elements into a tapestry of progressive, melodic bass music where each song is an experience in and of itself. A Noxterra set blends deeply original elements into a dynamic journey that takes you up, down, in, out and through your feelings while inviting you to connect to the rhythms of the night.
